"The Conflict Of Souls"
Focal Passage: 1 Peter 1:6-8
"Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."
This is Jesus' promise that praying to the Father through the Name of Jesus.. unlocks answered prayer and lasting JOY!
THE POINT IS:
1.) PRAY IN THE NAME OF CHRIST: Learn to RELY on Jesus and NOT only on your own goodness.
It means asking for things that honor God.
2.) BE HONEST AND DIRECT: Don't hold back your needs. God invites you to bring your REAL griefs, worries, fears, and hopes TO HIM with REAL confidence..but also in humility.
3.) LOOK FOR JOY:
Let answered prayers point your heart back to God! When Jesus answer's prayer it brings real JOY!
REMEMBER..
